Annual Club Elections – Nominations

Hello GHRPC Members.
Just to give a little update regarding our club business.

We have elections every year for new officers. We take nominations in January, February, and March during the meeting. We hold the election at the end of the March meeting.

Currently our nominations are:

President Riley Morris.

Vice-president Roy Pauley.

Trustee Colin Scott.

Our current Secretary and Treasurer have chosen not to run for re-election. We have had no nominations for these two positions.

If any club member would like to volunteer for either of these two positions please e-mail Riley Morris at

Graysharborgunclub2000@yahoo.com

and we will set up an interview.

Our thoughts are towards possibly having a Treasurer and an Assistant Treasure so the workload can be split, that way it will not be overwhelming.

These positions must be filled in order to have this club

Thank You,

Riley Morris

    Hello GHRPC Members.
Well, it’s that time of year again. Time to renew your membership to the Grays Harbor Rifle & Pistol Club.

If you have not attended a meeting for a while, I will remind you of a club policy change that was voted on early last year. All GHR&PC Members MUST attend a meeting at least once a year.  At that time, we will punch your membership card with a special punch as proof of attending.  Be sure to ask that your card be punched before leaving.
Renew your membership during one of our monthly meetings
Please bring your punched membership card
A completed “B” form – get one from the range or print one from our web page.              (Located under “Join Us”.)
The correct money or check for appropriate Membership dues.
    Renew your membership by mail
                    Your punched Membership Card.
                    Completed “B” form
Along with your appropriate Membership dues.
    DO NOT SEND YOUR KEY!
Your current key will still operate the padlock on the gate and door lock
                    through MARCH 31, 2025.
Once your ”B” form and Membership dues have been received, we will  issue you a new membership card and key that will be valid April 1, 2025
Please allow 4 to 6 weeks before calling about your new key.
After April 1, 2025, you may deposit your old key in the key drop box at the indoor range entryway.
We recognize that some Members will be exempt from this rule of attending a meeting.  Members with disabilities, medical conditions, Life Members, Members that live out of county or state and Members that rely on others to bring them to the range.

We will respond via email with our decision.  We want to accommodate those Members truly in need.
The Club is NOT asking for a $5.00 mailing fee for the key to be mailed to you this year.  We want to keep this simple.

    GHR&PC Board of Directors

**Please Note that Members are NOT eligible for a quarterly reduction for missing the renewal deadline.
We send out emails and make announcements at every meeting in January, February and March that Members renew their Membership so they won’t be mad, sad or disappointed that their key doesn’t gain them entry into the Club.  We urge you to consider the lag time between mailing your renewal (4 to 6 weeks) and what month you will receive your new card and key if you mail it in the end of March.
