Hello GHRPC Members.
The meeting was called to order at 6:35 p.m. by President Riley Morris.

Committee Reports:
Gary gave the pistol club report as well as the black powder report in Jerry’s absence.
Black Powder meets on the 2nd Sunday of the month at 10:00 am. Come join us
Winter Pistol League will start practicing in December. The Pistol League begins in January and continues into March (10 week program). Exact dates will be posted via email and on the web page.
Trap Group:
Lance: For now, Trap Shoot is on the First Saturday of the month and the Third Sunday of the month. Start at 9:30 a.m. – noon. Bring your shotgun, a box of shells and $5.00.
Dates are posted on the bulletin board and on the “Updates” tab on our website. Lance 360-249-8043.

Old Business:
The minutes of the September 17, 2024, meeting were read and approved by the club.
New Business:
Riley thanked the volunteers that helped with the most recent range repairs, explained the club email process, reminded new members of attending orientation directly after the meeting, He reminded all members of the required attendance of one(1) meeting per year and requested all members close the range gate when entering or leaving and that during meeting nights the last person to leave is responsible for closing AND locking the gate.
Roy requested members to shake their brass to remove floor dirt using the screen over the garbage can.
Gina explained as a board, we agreed upon an instructor to use our facility for safety classes. These classes are open to the public as well as Gun Club Members. Basic, Intermediate & Advanced Classes are available. Enroll via the “Training” tab on our website. Class size is limited. E.C. Tovar is the instructor. Come to a meeting for more information.
She also introduced our guest speaker, 19th District Legislative Representative Jim Walsh. He discussed numerous subjects to be on the ballot, candidates and answered member questions/comments.
Jake Reviewed a few of the safety rules that need to always be followed while shooting at our range
John requested that members NOT put paper targets into the garbage can, use the two cans marked TARGETS ONLY
**ALL members should familiarize themselves with the location of the club’s safety and emergency equipment…

If you see damage or have an accident on the range, please notify Roy or Riley IMMEDIATELY!
A total of 18 prospective Members submitted their applications and introduced themselves to the Membership. Applicants were approved by The Membership & voted in as a block.
