Minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Grays Harbor Rifle and Pistol Club March 15, 2022. The Meeting was called to order @ 6:30 by Vice President Riley Morris. Executive Board/Trustees/Committee members present included:

TREASURER REPORT:
The treasury report was made by Dale Hensley.
OLD BUSINESS:
The Draft Meeting Minutes of February 15, 2022 were read and approved.
Please be sure you are signing into club meetings, activities and donation of volunteer time so that we may keep accurate records. Thank you.
NEW BUSINESS:
New light poles will be added in the parking lot soon.
Parking lot has now been grated and gravel added.
Indoor and lower range will be CLOSED to shooters on 3/17/2022, for the hours of 10 am–3 pm to allow for John Schroeder’s service. The upper range will remain open.
50/50 Drawing:
$410.00, $205.00 to the winner. $205.00, plus a match donation, from the club of $205.00 for a total of $410.00 to the Grays Harbor Domestic Violence Shelter.
OTHER BUSINESS:
Renewal may be done ANYTIME during the year.
Lance Fry reported that the Trap shoot from 2 weeks ago was largest so far. Reminders: Future Trap shoots will be: 3/20/22, 4/24/22, 5/15/22.
The black powder group meets the 2nd Sunday of every month.
The Pistol League meet on Mondays/Thursdays at: 5/5:30-8 pm
Dale announced that the clubs Non-profit recertification has been successfully renewed.

Officers will meet once a month to process mail in renewals beginning 2022. This will take about 2 to 4 weeks to process
Please renew early! (Don’t be sad, mad or keyless when the locks are changed on April 1, 2022!)
To sign up for the lease land through the Gun Club, you must first register with Rayonier at:
https://www.rayonierhunting.com/
Do Not select a specific land when registering. Once you have completed registration, contact Roy Pauley at 360-581-9885.
Rayonier will provide a window sticker once you have registered on the Rayonier site. Again, please contact Roy after registering to complete the entire process.
During hunting season, “brush pickers” are banned from the lease land. Contact Roy if you witness them on the leased land, as quickly as possible.
Questions/Comments to the Board:
Gina thanked the members for the improvements made to our parking lot.
It was announced that the range does have a shooting instructor. His name is Eagle Tovay, his contact information is in on the white board of the indoor range.
A club member updated the club about the 10 round magazine ban’s progress.
Riley reminded members, when checking webb calendar, to scroll to the current year, currently the default year is set to 2021.

A total of 16 prospective members submitted their application and introduced themselves to the Membership.
Applicants were approved by The Membership & voted in as a block. Total GHR&PC Members as of 3/15/22 = 836
The meeting was adjourned at 7:30 p.m.

The next meeting of the Grays Harbor Rifle & Pistol Club will be on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 6:30 p.m.
It is highly recommended that new members and members renewing arrive at 5:30 p.m., in order to expedite the application/payment process and ensure that the meeting starts on time. Please inform prospective members of this as well.
No renewal memberships after 6:00 p.m. at the monthly meeting.
